Trail rides
- Riders wishing to participate are to contact the host before 8:00 pm the Tuesday before the ride.
- Only confirmed riders will be advised of changes or cancelled rides.
- For insurance purposes, each rider must be an active SATRA member for the current year and additionally must have a current Alberta Equestrian Federation membership.
- If you are not a member and would like to come on a ride, you are allowed to participate on a once-in-a-lifetime basis. This is to see if you would like what we do. After that you would be required to become a member.
- All riders ride at their own risk. We encourage helmet use.

Arena rides
- Riders don’t need to contact the host prior to coming. However, contact information is provided to inquire about any changes or cancellations (due to weather, etc.).
- For insurance purposes, each rider must be an active SATRA member for the current year and additionally must have a current Alberta Equestrian Federation membership.
- We generally start with some groundwork, then gather for lunch (lunch is not provided so bring your own). After lunch we ride in the arena until quitting time.
- Most arenas have equipment that we can use (pylons, barrels, etc.) but you are also welcome to bring anything else you would like to use.
- All riders ride at their own risk. We encourage helmet use.
Interested in hosting a trail ride?
- The more trail rides available the better! If you know a great place to ride consider being a trail ride host.
